Welcome to Worcestershire Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WRSASC)
WRSASC is a free, confidential and non-judgemental service run by women for women who have experienced rape, assault, incest, sexual abuse, sexual harassment or any form of sexual attack, whether physical, verbal or emotional. The trauma caused by sexual abuse may not surface for many years after the event. We treat all calls equally sensitively and confidentially, appreciating the courage required to break silence, overcome guilt and threats, and share the events of the past whether they happened days or years ago.
This website will help you find information about our services, about rape and sexual abuse, about helping and being helped...

Our Philosophy
- We are here to listen – not to work miracles
- We are here to help a woman discover what she is feeling – not to make her feelings go away
- We are here to help a woman identify her options – not to decide for her what she should do
- We are here to discuss steps with a woman – not to take the steps for her
- We are here to help a woman discover her own strength – not to rescue her and leave her still vulnerable
- We are here to help a woman discover she can help herself – not to take responsibility for her
- We are here to help a woman choose – not to keep her from making difficult choices
- We are here to provide support for change
